Anthony Lehman, L.N.H.A

Chief Executive Officer/Administrator

Anthony Lehman spent his first 5 years with Goodwill as an Assistant Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and the last 20 years as the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. He has served dually as Goodwill Retirement Community’s Chief Executive Officer for the last 5 years. Anthony resides in Grantsville with his wife and 4 children. He also serves the community as the Youth Pastor at Cherry Glade Mennonite Church.

Julia Tice

Chief Human Resources Officer

Julia Tice has served at Goodwill Retirement Community for the past 17 years. She has worked as the Social Services Coordinator and now uses her talents as the Chief Human Resources Officer. Julia lives in Springs, PA, with her husband. In her spare time, Julia enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Brian Brenneman

Chief Financial Officer

Brian Brenneman is the Chief Financial Officer at Goodwill Retirement Community. Brian has served at Goodwill since 2017 and has a background as a certified public accountant. He resides in Grantsville with his wife and 3 children. Brian is an active member at Maple Glen Mennonite Church and enjoys snowboarding and playing basketball.

Cortney Mitchell

Assisted Living & Retirement Village Manager

Cortney Mitchell has been the Assisted Living and Retirement Village Manager for the past 6 years. She resides outside of Grantsville with her husband and daughter. Cortney enjoys reading, organizing things, and spending time with her family.

Emily Johnson

Social Services Coordinator

Emily Johnson has been the Social Services Coordinator/Admission Coordinator for Goodwill Retirement Community since 2017. She lives in Salisbury, PA and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Frostburg State University. Emily enjoys helping people and spending time with her family and cat.

Ashley Miller

Director of Nursing

Ashley Miller has served Goodwill for two years in her previous role as the Infection Control Nurse and her current position as Director of Nursing. She has worked in the field of long-term care since 2008. Ashley resides with her family in Confluence, PA. She enjoys sports, spending time with her family, and watching any activities in which her children participate.

Patricia Knopsnyder

Director of Activities & Volunteer Services

Patricia Knopsnyder has served at Goodwill for over 30 years with the last 14 years as the Activities Director. Patty resides in Salisbury, PA, with her husband. Patty is an active member in her church and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.

Director of Environmental Services

Gary Bunnell has served at Goodwill Retirement Community for 25 years, with the last 12 years as the Director of Environmental Services. He resides in Salisbury, PA, with his wife and son. Gary enjoys serving the community as a basketball coach at the Salisbury Elk-Lick school district.

Director of Dietary Services

Linda Bender has served at Goodwill Retirement Community for the past 37 years, with the last 17 years as Director of Dietary Services. Linda resides in Mt. Davis, PA, and is an active member in her church and enjoys spending time on the farm and visiting with her family.

Business Office Manager

Shelley Durst has served in the business office as Office Manager/ Bookkeeper for the last 32 years. She resides in Meyersdale, PA, and has lived there for 31 years with her husband. In Shelley’s spare time, she enjoys camping and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Melissa Nugent

Assistant Director of Nursing

Melissa Nugent has been the Assistant Director of Nursing for Goodwill since 2022. Prior to serving as Assistant Director of Nursing, she worked in housekeeping, and as an RN supervisor for the nursing home. She lives in Friendsville, MD with her husband and daughter. Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, animals and enjoys being outdoors.

Assistant Director of Nursing and Dementia Care Coordinator

Laura Lung has served as the Assistant Director of Nursing and Dementia Care Coordinator since October, 2022. She has served Goodwill in various roles intermittently since 2016, advancing her career since starting as an LPN. Laura resides in Finzel, Maryland and enjoys living in a rural setting. She enjoys hiking with her dog and gardening in the summer. She is passionate about her career as a nurse and enjoys fulfilling her commitment to lifelong learning and education in the field.
